B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (B.Tech CSE)
B.Tech CSE is a 4-year undergraduate engineering course on practical and theoretical knowledge of computer hardware and software. The minimum eligibility for this course requires passing class 12th/ Higher Secondary Examination in Physics, Mathematics, and English with a minimum of 50% marks.
B.Tech CSE graduates can find employment in academic institutions, IT software companies, journalism, sales, and marketing. The job profiles for graduates of this course can be a lecturer, technical editor, content developer, Software engineer, software developer, programmer analyst, test engineer etc.
Eligibility
The minimum eligibility for this course requires, passing the higher secondary school certificate (10+2) examination with science subjects such as maths, physics, and English as compulsory courses. In addition, they must also have one Subject out of Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science.
Minimum percentage of marks in class 12/ higher secondary Examination is generally from 45% to 50%. Since most institutions have an Entrance Exam, the students who have appeared in Higher Secondary Examination and are awaiting results can apply too.

Programme Eligibilty For M. Tech
M.Tech (Master of Technology) Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
M.Tech. CSE is a 2-year postgraduate course offering specialization in computer programming languages and computer system technologies. Enrolled students investigate complex problems through research and use appropriate modern engineering tools to find solutions.
Eligibility for M.Tech CSE:
To be eligible to pursue this course in India, a student must have completed a bachelor’s degree in computer science or any related subject from a well-recognized university.
M.Tech. CSE is designed to offer eligible candidates the requisite skills needed in the application, research, and development activities in emerging areas of Computer Science. The course focuses on AI and AI-related applications in a distributed computing environment.

Admission Process
The admission process for M.Tech. CSE course is varied, as various institutes have their very own criteria and processes of admission. Admission to the course is often based on the candidate’s performance in GATE, followed by a round of counselling, wherein the student’s general aptitude for the course is examined, and based on performance in which, students are admitted.
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all-India examination that primarily tests the candidate’s comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in Engineering and Technology.

CSE Department Labs
The Department has four well equipped computer laboratories to meet the requirement of the curriculum. Sufficient systems are available for students, maintaining the prescribed PC to students ratio of 1:4 as per the AICTE norms.
Licensed Softwares Available:
Realizing the importance of rapid advancements in the Computer Science & Information Technology sectors, all the laboratories have been furnished with high speed LAN. The labs are updated and upgraded frequently as per the requirements and demand of industry. The well equipped laboratories help students to meet ever increasing technological and social challenges with its traditions of self discipline, hard work and a creative approach to solve problematic issues.

Computer Graphics Lab/Multimedia Technologies Lab
Computer Graphics lab is well equipped & licensed software of C++ and Flash Player that runs on Microsoft windows XP. Here, operations on 2 dimensional & 3 dimensional object images are done. Various effects like motion, colors, pattern effects, translation, rotation, and scaling, shearing operations are implemented. Various algorithms for polygon clipping, polygon drawing and filtering operations on 2-D & 3-D object’s images are implemented in this lab.
C/C++/LINUX Lab
C/C++ Lab is well equipped and also uses Linux operating system. Students prepare programs on C & C++ to implement the concepts of structured programming and object oriented programming respectively. Students are introduced with the concept of Class and object creation, applying inheritance, polymorphism etc. in this lab.
DBMS Lab
This Lab is well equipped with Core 2 duo processor, Laser printer and Oracle 8i/9i as the application software. The students are introduced with the concepts of structured query language to properly understand the management of database of any system. Various models of database can be studied and realized using the facilities available in the lab.
Compiler Design Lab
Compiler Design Lab is well equipped with i7 Processors. Here study and implementation of compiler is done. Lexical analyzer and YACC compiler tools are studied in detail.
