About Department
The onus being on holistic preparation of nurses was established in the R.P. Inderaprastha Institute of Medical Sciences Bastara, Karnal year 2011, with the twin objective of empowering Nurses with quality education and manpower development. The Hon’ble founder Sh. R.P Singal, a leading and learned industrialist, is the pillar and founder of this institution. The R.P. Inderaprastha Institute of Medical Sciences is headed by our Hon’ble Chairman Er. Bhrat Singal, Director Dr. DL. Mittal, and our enigmatic Director Dr. Anshul Sharma. This nursing institute was established as a “Center Of Excellence” for nursing education at the international & National level through quality approach, professional development and research. R.P. Inderaprastha Institute of Medical Sciences strives to provide the best nursing education that combines the development of cognitive, affective as well as psychomotor domains of learning by adapting to recent technological advances. We prepare and mould the students to be not merely a caregiver, but also confident and highly resourceful persons who can proficiently handle the ‘state-of-the-art’ equipment in the hospital. I am glad to state that our department offers four Nursing programmes namely B.Sc (N), P.B.B.Sc (N), ANM and GNM.
