China’s aggressive stance along the India-China border fits with the larger pattern of Chinese aggression in other parts of the world,US President Donald Trump has said,wading into the boundary row between New Delhi and Bejing.

Coming a day after he publicly expressed anger at china over its spreading the coronavirus and damaging the world economy.Trump’s remarks,attributed to him by his spokesperson kayleigh McEnamy,came on Wednesday even as US lawmakers moved to impose sanctions on Bejing for its crackdown on Hong Kong ,Getting tough on China is one of the few things Republicans and Democrats have agreed on in recent days after weeks of Trump and Democratic nominee JoeBiden accusing each other of being soft on Bejing.

After days of discrete silence on the India-China row following a stray offer to mediate between the two sides and vaguely referring to a “big problem” and “tough situation”between the two sides,Trump finally made known his view od China being the aggressor in remarks relayed through his spokesperson.
