As Indians, we are fortunate to be born in a land of diverse cultures. The splendour of living in a country like India is that we get to know and celebrate different festivals of various states year long. Lohri is an important festival, which is celebrated in the Indian state of Punjab on 13th of January every year. Today Lohri was celebrated in RPIIT Campus with great enthusiasm. The programme started with a Bonfire  as well as welcoming to everyone and blessings of the Chairman sir-Sh. R.P. Singhal. Campus Director- Sh. D.L. Mittal told the history behind the celebration of the Lohri festival. Director RPIIT- Dr. Anshul Sharma, Dean Academics- Er. Kapil Monga, Principal Mr. Amit Chandna also gave Lohri wishes. Students from various Departments gave cultural performances, which added charm to the celebration of Lohri. The programme was happily ended by the Lohri song performed by the students.
