Department Activities

• Industrial Visit

Regular Industrial Visits as well as excursion tours are organized by the college for the students.

1. The students of Mechanical Department were taken to Thermal Power Plant, Panipat where student got extensive knowledge about the working of the power plant. The practical Exposure of the machinery in working conditions is very useful to students.
2. The students were taken to the International Surajkund Crafts Mela, Faridabad as part of their excursion tour. The students enjoyed a lot on the trip.
3. Mechanical Engg. with faculty members visited TIGHTWELL FORGINGS LIMITED Company which has its manufacturing facility at National Highway-1 in Samalkha, District Panipat, Haryana. Tightwell Forgings Ltd was initiated in the year 1974 the manufacturing of cold forged mild steel “BOLTS” under the brand name “TS”.

Students visited hot forging section and cold forging section and major working area of companies. Students learnt various aspects of mechanical and electrical engineering from this company visit which will help them to enhance their practical knowledge.

• Social Activity

• Activity : Save water

The Mechanical Engineering department visited Mubarkhabad Village on   27/09/2019 for the purpose of awareness regarding “save water”. We met various local persons and conveyed messages for saving water. We Posted many pictures and hoarding at various places. Overall it has been a great awareness programme.

• Activity: Vote for All

The Mechanical Engineering department visited Kairvaali Village on 04/10/2019 for the purpose of social awareness regarding “Voting in upcoming elections in Haryana”. We met various local people and aware them regarding voting for election in Haryana. We have posted and distributed the pamphlet in the village. Overall it has been a great social awareness programme. It was a great social awareness programme. People were motivated for voting in upcoming election in Haryana. Response of people was very good.
