DEPARTMENT OF PHYSIOTHERAPY ABOUT LABORATORIES LABS: We believe in providing excellent hands on practice and clinical exposure to our students. All study programs offered by our department involve laboratory practices and we have setup various high-tech laboratories that help students acquire necessary real-time skills and abilities before they lay their hands on patients. The labs housed by the department are: Anatomy Lab. Physiology lab. Exercise therapy Lab. Electrotherapy Lab. Neurology Lab. Anatomy Lab Anatomy as a subject is a basic necessity of BPT program. This lab is equipped with skeletons, bones, joint models, muscle description equipments, some specimens to provide maximum knowledge to our budding physiotherapists. Physiology Lab Our physiology lab houses the necessary kits and instruments that help the students understand various bodily systems. Also it houses various models of body organs as well as descriptive models of system of our body. Kits present are useful to practice and understand blood testing systems, tools for respiratory systems etc. Exercise Therapy Lab Fully equipped with various exercise modalities and equipments used to treat different conditions of patients. Students get to practice on each other under supervision before delivering necessary exercises to patients. We have top notch equipments and machines. Electrotherapy Lab Our department is blessed with therapeutic machines of sterling quality. Students get to learn how to use and apply these machines. All the machines present in the lab are of best quality, meeting the norms and standards set by the university. Neurology Lab This lab contains many types of equipment to learn and treat different neuromuscular conditions. All the equipments are in accordance with norms and are of good quality.
