The Study of Management educates students on the many facts of management; while also improving their ability to motivate their peers, communicate with others, and lead a team; all of which are essential skills for good managers. It promotes faculty research, consultancy, training, and outreach activities in various manufacturing, corporate, infrastructural, services and developmental sectors. Its faculty organizes on-campus seminars, and actively participates in external seminars, executive and faculty development and PG programmes. The approach to pedagogy combines fieldwork, case studies and instrumented feedback with a strong emphasis on concepts and theory. The Study of Management has its ultimate objective of educating students for professional pursuits in business, industry and Government. It is further dedicated to contributing for enhancing the knowledge and understanding of business and public administration.Study of management rewards initiative, novelty and thinking outside the box. Students are individualists of enormous intellectual energy with a talent for collaboration and teamwork.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is a three-year fulltime course which is designed to craft graduates with well-developed business insights and critical thinking and decision-making skills. The structure of the program is so planned that it equips the students to imbibe holistic education and requisite skills. In addition to academic learning, the course emphasizes the development of key real-world business attributes like global intelligence and personal effectiveness, giving students the confidence, knowledge and expertise required to function in a global setting.

MASTER’S PROGRAMME

Master of Business Administration (MBA) 
Duration: 4 Semesters
MBA Full Time is a two-year course. Concentrates on imparting management fundamentals like Human
Resources, Organisational Effectiveness & Change, Marketing Management, Financial Management,
Quantitative Methods and Computer Applications in Management etc. At the completion of the first two semesters of the first year and before the commencement of the third semester in the second year, the student undergoes summer training in renowned organizations of the country. A report based on the summer training is submitted within four weeks from the commencement of the third semester. In the second year, the students decide on their professional development plans by reflecting on their first year's learning and summer internship experiences.
